8-12-2007 at 22:29:42hey Bob, yeah, Spinal Tap did go on several tours, but in the beginning, it was a mockumentary and they were a joke band. But, due to the success of the movie, ppl wanted to see them live, so they did some touring.

they didn’t exist as real bands because they were either joke bands or invented by someone, they existed but in a “different” way, and i agree some of them are pretty awesome!

8-15-2007 at 19:57:18Spinal Tap… one of the funniest films ever made. I’ve watched it so many times and still cry with laughter. I never did get the chance to see the mock group go on tour (I was far far far to young…lol!)… I think the Muppets were more my scene then!
